Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your little one! This is a special time in your life, and I would be honored to be chosen to capture this special occasion. If you're like many new parents to be, you're likely eager wondering what to expect at your maternity or newborn session. I do all that I can to ensure your every need is taken care of. My goal is to create a relaxed and luxurious experience for you and your family.
Each pregnancy and baby is unique, as you are. Here are some answers to the questions I hear most:
When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
Typically when you are in your 32-36 week of pregnancy. You belly will be nice and round, but you'll still feel comfortable to move and typically are less swollen.
What should I wear to my maternity session? Should I bring my own outfit?
I have numerous beautiful maternity gowns, specifically designed with your gorgeous shape in mind. My clients are welcome to use my gowns, or you are welcome to bring your own dress/outfit.
Do you offer Hair and Makeup Services?
YES!! Pamper yourself, you deserve it. Professional Hair and Makeup is provided at your session for just $75.
Are there discounts for multiple sessions?
Absolutely! When you book a newborn session along with your maternity session, you will receive a $50 discount towards your newborn session.
When is the best time to photograph newborns? Great question!! The best time to photograph a newborn is 7-14 days after baby is born. At this point they are typically getting a full belly and are still sleepy and flexible. Perfect for creating those sleepy curled positions. :)
When should I book my session? It's best to schedule your session, while you are still pregnant. Newborn sessions fill up quickly, and spots are limited. We will book your sessions about a week after your due date, and can adjust the actual day, depending on when you deliver.
Do I need to brings props or outfits for the session? I have plenty of beautiful outfits and props, specifically designed for newborn photography, so no need to bring outfits or worry about what to bring. :) Many "newborn outfits" clients purchase or bring in, typically don't fit well, or photograph well. I've invested heavily into having many choices for clients available at the studio.
Do you sanitize your studio? Your babies health and safety is my UTMOST priority! I sanitize and clean props, clothing, items after every session. I personally am up to date on all immunizations and yearly flu shot. I take your babies health extremely serious!
